The International Institute of New England has been welcoming refugees and immigrants to Massachusetts and New Hampshire for over a century through three sites: Boston, MA; Lowell, MA; and Manchester, NH. From its beginning to the present, the International Institute of New England has helped thousands of immigrants with specialized services, assisted each new wave of refugees from all over the world, and served as a center of hospitality for many ethnic groups. IINE’s community-based sites feature a core of common services essential to our mission. Refugee resettlement, case management, health services navigation, employment, education and literacy, and citizenship programming achieve IINE’s overarching objective to create opportunities for refugees and immigrants to succeed through resettlement, education, career advancement and pathways to citizenship.
