The BPAF is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) open-membership organization that was created in 1997 in order to promote a widespread appreciation of current social, economic, political and other issues affecting relations between Americans and peoples of African descent around the world. It seeks to mobilize all sectors of American society especially regarding U.S. foreign policy and international relations.
The BPAF is based in Boston with a membership throughout New England. Our organization's mission emphasizes connecting African peoples with each other, and with their friends and allies. Come and participate in our programs to help build an understanding of why, and how, and with whom we all can connect, for our common good.
