Program/Project Coordination: Coordinate project staffing and onboarding activities of pre-, post-docs, student researchers, visiting scholars, and others. Provide general support for GEGI research projects and programs. Oversee the planning and execution of programmatic activities such as literature sessions, luncheon series, and other types of meetings and conferences. Coordinate with the GEGI research team and guest speakers on travel arrangements, honoraria, and reimbursements. Organize and participate in check-ins to ensure project budgets and timelines are on track.
Finance and Administration: Assist in the tracking of project finance and budgets. Create budgets for specific programs (e.g., workshops and travel) within existing research projects. Prepare financial reports for programs and reconcile charges.
Sourcing & Procurement: Research and identify vendors, register vendors in BU's SAP ARIBA system, solicit and review proposals and contracts for goods and services, process purchase requisitions.
Communication: Collaborate with the communications team to produce policy briefs, reports, and working papers, ensuring that the communication team receives the correct report versions for production and publication. Responsible for ensuring the timely, complete, and accurate delivery of knowledge products to the communications team.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively.
• A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• 2-4 years related work experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables).
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Canva, Monday, or AirTable is a plus.
This position is grant-funded for an initial term of one year. Renewal is contingent upon funding availability.
