REPORT TO: Executive Director

HOURS: 10-15 hours/week, 12 months

COMPENSATION: $17/hour, commensurate with experience

Position Overview

We seek a Program Coordinator (PC) to support our Partner Projects who we advise on program development, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, grant writing, marketing/branding, and fundraising. Based on the needs of Partners and the Program Coordinators’  interests and expertise, the PC can focus on one or more of the aforementioned areas. As a small organization ourselves, composed of part-time staff, we require a 12 month commitment to this role. 

Main Responsibilities

Set and lead meetings with a portfolio of Partners once a month.

Listen to Partners and offer advice/troubleshoot problems as needed. 

Keep track of tasks and assignments to make sure that projects move along smoothly.

Maintain clear and frequent communication with Partners.


Academic background in Political Science, Public Health, International Development, Public Administration, Education, or a related field.

Experience with the grant or MEL processes is desired.

1-2 years of experience in project management at a mission-driven organization.

Strong writing and communication skills.

Interest in small-scale community development initiatives.

Ability to speak a second language is a plus.
