Development Operations Associate - Soccer Without Borders

Development Operations Associate

Soccer Without Borders is seeking a positive and dynamic self-starter to join our team as a Development Operations Associate. We are anxious to connect with the right person, and can be flexible in shaping the position to your skills and interests. Soccer Without Borders (SWB) is a non-profit organization that uses soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing under-served youth with a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success. Since our founding in 2006, SWB has built collaborative programs around the USA and abroad, currently operating seven year-round programs in three countries.

About Us

Soccer Without Borders is a team of passionate, hard-working folks with the unwavering belief that a positive team environment can be a game-changer for youth. Our core values underpin all that we do (authenticity, process-oriented, and a focus on the whole person) in addition to drawing on the strengths of “team” at every level.  We give high-fives and hugs, we share nascent ideas, and we are always learning. We are committed to providing free programs to youth who may not otherwise have access. SWB youth have so much potential; we want a team of folks who are impassioned by the idea that every young person deserves the chance to realize theirs.

About You

Our team is made up of phenomenal coaches, teachers, youth development gurus, and generally kind and wonderful people. Your skills complement the team perfectly; you are positive, curious, proactive, and attentive to detail. You believe in sport-based programs to create positive change for young people and communities, and are motivated to make others believe it too. You have an ability to work both independently and collaboratively both in person and remotely. You are a solution-seeker, and willing to dig into data to find trends and challenge the norm. You have an understanding of different philanthropic avenues and are motivated to learn new strategies for mobilizing funds for our mission.  Technology is your friend, and you aren’t shy about learning new systems, databases, and software. Bonus points if you’ve already mastered Kindful, Google Suite, Google Adwords, Wix, and/or Constant Contact.
