Travel: Hybrid, in the Boston office on Tuesdays and possible weekend dates; Travel stipend will be provided.

Job Overview
Interns play a crucial role at WorldBoston and actively participate in furthering our mission of bringing the world to Boston and Boston to the world. They also gain valuable, hands-on experience, transferable skills and unique access to internationally-oriented individuals and organizations in the Boston area.
NOTE: This internship will be hybrid and we ask that the intern have access to their own computer and expect to come into the office every Tuesday during the internship period.
The Intern will contribute to WorldBoston's main programming for Citizen Diplomacy Programs, particularly our Custom Visitor Programs (CVP). Support will focus on two visiting groups sponsored by the U.S. Department of State:
1. A fellowship project, the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), will be implemented January and June 2023.
2. The Fulbright Visiting Scholars Anchor City Program will be implemented between January and July 2023
The intern will also help staff find and apply to new CVP grant opportunities and support the preparation of additional exchange grants as they are awarded to WorldBoston.
Duties:
-Assist in program planning and orientation for projects
-Conduct research in the field of entrepreneurship in Boston
-Communicate with professionals in the Greater Boston area
-Arrange logistics for complex, multilayered, (a) virtual and (b) in-person meetings and events.
-Organize virtual workshops
-Prepare welcome materials and other program materials (as needed) for participants
Program implementation:
-Must be available on the following dates: May 12, May 19, May 26, June 2, June 9, 2023
-Provide support for participants
-Assist at several WorldBoston-organized workshops and orientations
-Support with program wrap-up
-Assist with other CVP or IVLP Programs, as needed
-Draft proposals for CVP
-Salesforce: Upload data to Salesforce, Ensure that Citizen Diplomacy-related data within Salesforce is organized, Run reports on Salesforce, as needed
