The minimum for a job used to be a high school education. Today, as a job seeker the expectations for applicants to have not only a bachelors degree but also, a masters level degree has significantly increased. Moreover, the pressure, the prep, and the planning to even be admitted to college and university can be a job in of itself. Upon being accepted, it becomes a puzzle of financial analysis to understand how tuition, room and board, books, and living expenses will be covered by a combination of savings, loans, federal aid, part-time jobs, and scholarships. When did this all change? Will costs only continue to inflate? How do I think about saving for the children I have or might have in the future? Are there alternatives to this path?

Join Civic Series and the Young Education Professionals of Boston to answer these questions and yours during our panel. The event will start around 6:15 with a 45 minute panel followed by 30 minutes of questions from the audience.
