Initiating Mutual Understanding through Student Exchange (IMUSE)[Harvard, MIT, Wellesley]
Initiating Mutual Understanding through Student Exchange (IMUSE) is a one-week student-run conference with bi-annual sessions in Beijing, China and Boston. This is the 11th year of the conference, and this January, MIT CDI and Harvard IMUSE is hosting the winter session for 30 delegates from the top U.S and Chinese colleges: MIT, Harvard, Wellesley, Tsinghua University and Peking University. The theme of the conference this year would be Social Sustainability through Innovation.
IMUSE aims at boosting mutual understanding between China and the US through student exchanges. Our delegates come from both China and the US, and they are really interested in global issues and international development. IMUSE committee truly believes the importance of our students having social awareness and a global perspective. Therefore, we were wondering whether we can invite members from BNID to give a presentation on how members of BNID are making an impact and help the society grow! We are open to any topics as long as it is related to our theme. The format can be a combination of site visits, day of service, lectures, and panels, etc. We are quite flexible in the structure, and are open to other ways of collaboration so that both IMUSE and BNID members can benefit from this.
Feel free to let me know if you have more questions, and I am more than happy to talk more about us over email or phone.
