Emerging Challenges in a Global World: An SIT Graduate Institute Admissions Event
In this interactive discussion, Bruce W. Dayton, Chair of SIT’s Peace and Justice Leadership MA, and Udi Butler, Chair of SIT’s Sustainable Development MA will reflect on the trends that are constraining as well as facilitating the emergence of new systems of peace and sustainability, both locally and globally. Among the challenges and opportunities to be discussed are rising nationalism, going beyond sustainability (e.g. post-growth), citizens’ networks and social movements, and new tools for advocacy and change.
In addition, our program will focus on conversation and networking with globally focused students and professionals, as well as provide details on our master’s degree programs and key admissions information. This will be a great opportunity to hear from a panel of SIT alumni who work in a variety of fields - from advocacy work to food security - and have used their SIT experience to guide their career path. Light food and refreshments will be provided.
