Looking for a speaker!

In November, we’re headed to Nepal to build a hostel for women in the Everest region. Approximately 70% of adolescent girls drop out of school after 10th grade because the higher secondary school, located in the district headquarters, is too difficult to reach both geographically and financially. We’re going to change that.

We are raising $22,500 to fund the materials for the 15 room hostel. We are hosting a fundraising event at the Rattlesnake in Boston, from 6-8p, on September 29, 2010. We are looking for a guest speaker who can address the opportunity in investing in women throughout developing countries.
