Bio: Ambassador Shoukry assumed his current post in Washington D.C. in September 2008. He has served as his country's Permanent Representative to the United Nation in Geneva (2005-2008) and as Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna (1999-2003).
