IMPACT Expo 2006. The event will include keynote speaker, Sarah Sewall, who is the Director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at the Kennedy School of Government. During the Clinton administration, Sewall served in the Department of Defense as the first Deputy Assistant Secretary for Peacekeeping and Humanitarian Assistance. She has, also, written on U.S. foreign policy, multilateralism, peace operations, and military intervention. We are very excited to have her join us.

In addition, we will be having a variety of organizations with which students can interact to learn about possible work and volunteer opportunities in international development, graduate school programs, and the like. Some names include Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Clinton Foundation, Action Against Hunger USA, Chemonics International and Foundation for Sustainable Development.

The event will occur on December 1st, 2006 from 2:30-5:30 in Taubman Building at the John F. Kennedy School of Government on the 5th floor.
