The Global Development and Environment Institute will be holding the 2010 Leontief Prize for Advancing the Frontiers of Economic Thought entitled, "Development and Well-Being in Times of Crisis". The award recipients and lecturers are Dr. Bina Agarwal, Director of Economics at the Institute of Economic Growth at Delhi University, and Dr. Daniel Kahneman, Senior Scholar; Eugene Higgins Professor of Psychology, Emeritus; and Professor of Psychology and Public Affairs, Emeritus. The event will be followed by a reception.
